CPR AED and First Aid Training

CPR First Aid Classes to be held at the IETC training center in Salem

 

Your health is most important.  Therefore, all the CPR AED First Aid Courses will be moved to our larger facility in Salem.  Participants will be limited to 16 (two rooms) in order to provide the correct social distancing needed to keep you safe.  All equipment will be sanitized and proper procedures will be used in the hands-on portion of this course.  We ask you to be mindful of others and thank you for your patience.

 

MEDIC First Aid BasicPlus is a combined adult CPR, AED and first aid training program designed specifically for the occupational first aid provider.  This program:

  1. Meets OSHA and other federal and state requirements
  2. Trains employees on how to respond and care for medical emergencies at work
  3. Provides 4 hours of CEUs for Oregon and Washington
  4. Certifications are good for two years
  5. Endorsed by the Inside Electrical and Limited Energy Apprenticeship Programs

 

Instructor Larry Meres is the owner of ABC for Life Training Center, LLC since 2005.  He spent 17 years in the medical field as a Cardiopulmonary tech.  Larry holds certifications with American Heart Association and American Health and Safety Institute and trains approximately 1,000 students per year in CPR and first aid.

Two Nights in October or November Earns You 8 CEU Hours
Participation via Zoom 

 

This is a 2 night Zoom course for Limited Energy (A&B) that will fulfill the 8 hours Oregon and Washington Code Change requirements.

The instructor for this course is Dave Gilson.  Dave has been involved in Limited Energy installation projects for over 25 years.  He has been a college-level instructor since 2002, as well as teaching continuing education classes throughout the western United States.  Mr. Gilson has been a subject matter expert sitting on several committees and involved with curriculum development for industry-related textbooks.  He has sat on the IEC National Apprenticeship and Training Committee since 2008.
