2024 Electrical Vehicle Certification Course

IEC of Oregon presents a 24-hour, 7-module course providing 8 hours of Oregon CR credit.

This comprehensive online course is designed to empower individuals with the latest expertise needed for the rapidly evolving electric vehicle industry.

  • The curriculum meets new training installation certification requirements for EV charging stations in Oregon.
  • Covers a wide range of topics from fundamentals to the applicable NEC codes.
  • Approved as an equivalent certificate program to EVITP.
  • Assignments will require additional time outside the hour classes.
  • There will be a final 3-hour proctored exam for certification.

2023 NEC Code Update 8-Hour Classes

 

A Saturday 8-hour course that fulfills the Oregon and Washington electrical code change requirements for journey-level and supervisor electrical licenses.  Dave Hill, Instructor.  IEC will report the completion of the class to the state and provide a certificate of completion.

CPR AED and First Aid Training

 

CPR AED First Aid Courses will be offered at our Tigard and Salem locations.  Participants will be limited to 12 in order to provide the correct social distancing needed to keep you safe.  All equipment will be sanitized and proper procedures will be used in the hands-on portion of this course.  We ask you to be mindful of others and thank you for your patience.

 

MEDIC First Aid BasicPlus is a combined adult CPR, AED, and first aid training program designed specifically for the occupational first aid provider.  This program:

  1. Meets OSHA and other federal and state requirements
  2. Trains employees on how to respond and care for medical emergencies at work
  3. Certifications are good for two years
  4. Endorsed by the Inside Electrical and Limited Energy Apprenticeship Programs
  5. The course is accredited for 4 CR CC Credits in Oregon and Washington

Please Note:  If you are late, you will NOT be admitted.  Please be 10 minutes early to class.
